Study type: Exploratory observational study of a single cannabis plant in a deep water culture (DWC) system.

Primary objective: Establish reliable observation, environmental logging, measurement, and laboratory recordkeeping practices while studying development across a plant life cycle.

Scope: Plant development, root-zone conditions, environmental measurements, and operational observations, subject to equipment readiness and applicable requirements.

Design limitation: One plant, one growth system, no control group. Observed changes cannot be attributed causally to individual variables, and outcomes cannot be generalized to other plants or systems.

Next milestone: Complete safety and equipment readiness review; finalize measurement schedule and baseline documentation before study initiation.

A proposed exploratory comparison of soil-based cultivation and deep water culture, with attention to maintenance effort, resilience, growth observations, and data quality. Study design, resources, and replication strategy have not been finalized. No comparative claims are made.
