Why we are beginning with observation
Open Cannabis Research begins with a simple premise: meaningful investigation requires more than curiosity. It requires defined questions, dependable records, and the willingness to revise an explanation when evidence does not support it.
Our first proposed study, OCR-LAB-001, is deliberately modest. A single-plant deep water culture observation cannot prove broad claims about cultivation methods or plant physiology. It can, however, establish a disciplined process for collecting measurements, recognizing uncertainty, and identifying questions worth testing in better-controlled studies.
Before collecting study data, we intend to complete an equipment and safety readiness review, define measurement procedures, and document the study's limitations in advance.
This journal will distinguish planned work from completed work. Entries will be dated, revisions will be disclosed, and negative or ambiguous observations will not be hidden.
No experimental results have been recorded or published here yet.
